I was assigned text 3 on the a/r/tographer.
It took me a little while to understand what the A/R/Tography does which is to Research, Practice, and Teach.
The fact that 4 different people were given the opportunity to voice there process of their own practice as a was helpful, because in the beginning much like Trish I found that using ones own physical lived experience to inform the art practice would be a vain venture into capturing the ephemeral. However I found that with the Trish and Isabelle and their practice being a solo exercise, my idea of the A/R/Tographer was skewed to be such where as with the last two Arianna and Sandrine it became a legitimate process that didn’t feel like navel gazing, due to the fact that they utilised other people in their practice which felt like to me a legitimate process of interactivity and learning.
